Itinerary
DAY 1 – Saturday : COSTA DEL SOL
Arrival Transfer to the hotel – Day at leisure.
“TAPAS DINNER” at a local Restaurant.
Overnight stay.
DAY 2 – Sunday : TORREMOLINOS – NERJA – GRANADA
Breakfast. Departure by motorcoach to Granada. On route, visit of the Prehistoric Caves of Nerja. Continue on to the Alpujarras, a beautiful nature area known as the ‘Little Switzerland’, with typical mountain villages such as Bubión or Lanjarón. Here we will stop for Cooking Lessons and a later Lunch to test your cooking skills .After lunch, continue to Granada for an early evening arrival .Panoramic city tour showing the great Renaissance Cathedral adjoined by the exquisite late Gothic Royal Chapel with the tomb of the Catholic Kings; the Alcaicería, the narrow market close to the Corral del Carbón, the old market; the Albaycin quarter with old minarets and well-cared for Cármenes (villas with beautiful gardens). The Plaza Nueva with the Chancery and the elegant Mudejar tower of Santa Ana.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3 – Monday : GRANADA
Breakfast. Guided tour of the Alhambra (13th-15th C.), a fortified palatine city. Built by the Nazarite Kings, which also includes its Alcazaba Citadel and the Palaces of Los Leones and Comares; the Generalife, a summer residence set in beautiful gardens; the so-called Royal Room of Santo Domingo, built in the orchards of Almanxarra and the Palace of Alcazar Genil used by the Nazrid Queens. The Palace of Charles V, designed in 1526 by Pedro Machuca in the heart of the Alhambra as a symbol of new power, is the most outstanding Renaissance work in Granada.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4 – Tuesday : GRANADA – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast. Departure to Cordoba. Guided tour of the Aljama Mosque. Abderraman I initiated in the 8th Century the construction of one of the most emblematic buildings of Islamic Art. Extended on various occasions it comprises a lavish in which a Cathedral of Gothic, Baroque and Plateresque elements has been built. It is a fascinating building which offers surprising light and colour effects as well as beautiful doors and nearly a thousand columns. Later continue to Seville.

DAY 5 – Wednesday : SEVILLE
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of this charming city, the well cared for gardens at Maria Luisa Park, walk through the typical district ofSanta Cruz and a visit to the Cathedral (15th C.), the largest Gothic Church in christendom, with its magnificent chancel, carvings by Martinez Montañes and paintings by Murillo, Zurbaran and Goya. Of the Almohade Aljama Mosque (12th C.) there remains, its striking minaret, the slenderest tower in Muslim architecture The Giralda , to which an exquisite bell tower was added in the 16th Century and not far away another amazing monumental complex to see, the Alcazar, an Arabic Palace which was completed by Peter 1st the Cruel and is outstanding for its Mudejar style and Moorish gardens.

DAY 6 – Thursday : SEVILLE – JEREZ – COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast. Departure to Jerez the Capital of Sherry Wines and Horse-breeding. Besides these two important activities as the trade marks of the city, it also has a beautiful heritage of palaces, museums, flamenco, etc, which will complete a large offer to make a must the visit of this important Andalusian town. We will visit one of the most famous wineries, ” Bodegas Williams & Humbert”, the mother winery of the famous sherry wine ‘Dry Sack’ and the brandy ‘Gran Duque de Alba’ ending with a Wine Tasting . Afterwards,into one of the cellars of the winery we will attend one of the most beautiful Horse Riding Exhibition you can see nowadays!! The “Amazing Dancing Andalusian Horses ” show is an equestrian ballet accompanied by Spanish music and 18th Century style costume.
Free time for lunch and then we continue to the Costa del Sol.

DAY 7 – Friday : COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast and day at leisure to explore the Coast.
